Appeal for information following death of man in Ludgershall

Detectives investigating the death of 64-year-old Graham Pennycook are urgently appealing to anyone who may have recorded dash camera footage from Thursday 24th September.

If you were driving in the Ludgershall area between 9am and 6pm we need to hear from you - even if you think you may not have recorded anything of interest.

We are specifically interested in anyone who may have been driving along Somme Road, the unnamed road bordering the polo field, Shoddesden Lane and the A3026 (the main road running through Ludgershall).

We have marked these roads on the attached map.

Detective Chief Inspector Phil Walker of the Major Crime Investigation Team said: “If you were driving in the area on Thursday 24th September and have dash camera footage, it’s vital that you contact us.

“Even if you think there is nothing important on your recording, we need to hear from you. Your camera recording may hold vital information to assist us in this murder investigation.

“We would like you to upload the information to our dedicated website. If you are unsure how to do this, please provide your contact information and someone from our team can help you.”

Graham was found deceased in woods near the polo field, close to Perham Down, on Thursday afternoon (24/9).

His death is being treated as suspicious and a murder investigation is ongoing.

Investigators continue to appeal to anyone who may have been in the area of Perham Down polo field and surrounding woodland on Thursday September 24 between 9am and 6pm, more specifically between 10am and 11am.

Anyone with information which could assist our investigation is asked to contact us on 101 or leave information on this dedicated website.

You can also leave information anonymously by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
